The production of gray cast iron is performed in 3 network – frequency induction furnaces with a capacity of 8 tons each, and one medium frequency furnace with a capacity of 8 tons; receptors with a capacity of 25 tons whose function is to maintain cast iron at an adequate temperature.
For the production of steel castings, we have 3 medium-frequency furnaces with a capacity of 0.3 tons, 0.6 tons and 2 tons. IKL Guča has an automatic line for machine molding Disamatik 2013MK4 with a capacity of 250 molds / h (plate dimensions 650x525mm). Horizontal semi-automatic line for machine molding LF.100.80 with a capacity of 20 molds / h (1000x800x150-300mm).
We are equipped for machining of steel, gray cast iron, plastics, lathes, milling machines, flat and large grinding, drilling and locksmith services, as well as for drilling deep holes up to Ǿ230 mm diameter and a maximum length of 3000 mm, on semi-finished products from steel and gray cast iron.
The total capacity of the foundry is 30,000 tons per year.
The foundry plant also includes a laboratory with modern and calibrated equipment for chemical and mechanical testing of materials. An integrated quality system has been established in IKL Guča according to the requirements of the standard ISO 9001:2015; ISO 14001:2015; OHSAS 45001:2018 and OHSAS 18001: 2007 system is certified by the certification company TUV Rheinland
Machining
The Machining Plant performs:
• processing of steel, gray and ductile iron parts and plastics,
• machining on lathes, milling machines and grinders,
• deep drilling of holes up to Ø230 mm in diameter and maximum length 3000 mm, on semi-finished products made of steel and cast iron,
• sheet metal processing on CNC machines: hydraulic shears, punches, press brakes and plasma cutting devices.
